G17 pierces the flesh of MARTIN's lower neck. MARTIN feels a tingling sensation running down his spine. The extremities of his fingers and toes begin to go numb.

I need a FORTITUDE from MARTIN (DC: 16) to avoid paralysis. I also need a FORTITUDE save from HLIN to resist the nausea (DC: 16).

ROUND ONE: MARILYN:
MARILYN moves 10 FEET east. Holding her bastard sword to her forehead, she begins chanting. The sword chimes quietly and a light appears from the center of the blade, bathing the area around her like torchlight.

"FENNIGAN, toss the flame into the main room to give GHORENFORE and LOWLYN some targets to hit. Stay close to me and we can keep an eye out for anything coming from behind."
MARILYN (30, 23)

MARILYN's light spell functions the same as a torch, creating a 20 foot radius of light centered on the lower left corner of her square. The spells also creates a shadowy illumination radius out to 40 FEET, and low-light shadowy illumination out to 80 FEET. Feel free to either make a new set of radii for MARILYN's spell or just move around the existing radii as needed. I will put up two sets for the next map.

GHORENFORE hears the lustful groan of hungry undead behind him. PA'CHEEN is also under attack.

MARTIN, as he swings from his snared foot, sees another undead humanoid (G15) attack PA'CHEEN. G15 attacks lunges at PA'CHEEN, fangs bared. The lupinal sidesteps G15's attack with little effort
G15 (42, 23)

Another series of hungry groans wail down from the passageway G15 came from. However, the wailing becomes more distant and is then answered by more groans until the southern passageway is filled with the unearthly choir of insatiable hunger. MARTIN can see five opponents rush out from passageways from east and west corridors. Four of the opponents rush toward the cavern MARTIN is trapped in while a fifth opponent rushes down a western passage (35, 33).

G13 reaches the entrance of the cavern, eying MARTIN hungrily.

From behind G13 comes three other undead elves (G5, G7, G3). Each one positions themselves around MARTIN, preparing to make a meal out of him. Fortunately, G5 is the only one that can make the attempt this round. It lunges and MARTIN's chest with its blackened fangs.

Because of FENNIGAN's position, G19 is somewhat visible now to GHORENFORE as long as they stay within 5 FEET of each other. GHORENFORE also senses the presence of evil within the large cavern.
