Kirak steps onto a thick, rotting branch, concealed by the layer of recently fallen leaves. It crumbles and snaps under his boot.

All three can hear a sharp, rapid thrumming in response to Kirak's misstep. A massive yellow and purple stripped wasp rises from one of the burrows and hovers above its shelter. It has direct line of sight with the scout team and moves to engage.

Clara groans,
"Oh, that you heard."
She looks at the rest of the team.
"Run!"

W1 moves 35 FEET, simply falling over the fallen tree. It hovers behind Tanya. It swings its abdomen brandishing a sword-size stinger at Tanya. Tanya reacts quickly, deflecting the stinger with her buckler. W1 continues to hover over her; its mindless instinct focused only on territory and food.
