G1 cannot move forward with G16 blocking it, so G1 does not move.
G2 moves forward 5 FEET; it's now right behind G1
Another target, G3 moves into MARTIN and HLIN's view. It's positioned directly behind G2, giving a line of 4 enemies for HLIN and MARTIN to contend with.

MARTIN and HLIN also caught sight of three other opponents that ran north behind G3. Their current positions are unknown.

G13 and G15 leave their positions behind G14. G13 and G15's positions are currently unknown; they headed east out of PA'CHEEN's field of vision.

G14 does not move, nor does the creature attack. It growls, yearning for flesh, but it cannot swing its claws at PA'CHEEN. The radius of LUSULA's circle has created an intangible, but powerful, barrier against G14.

Checking the Northern Passageway for any enemies, and selecting a Vantage point that can see clearly down all three hallways. As much as he wanted to let Marilyn have at it, his gut feeling was to keep fighting them one on one. Equal footing, equal terms, hold this ground

ROUND ONE: GHORENFORE

GHORENFORE can only see clearly down the north passageway. He can barely make out PA'CHEEN down the south corridor. Down the east corridor, MARTIN and HLIN are cloaked in the shadow of the dark cavern. GHORENFORE cannot see any opponents that his comrades are fighting. They are all out of range of the bright illumination of FENNIGAN's torch.

TO VAL: GHORENFORE would actually need to succeed at Spot checks to see opponents within the shadowy radius of the torch.

FENNIGAN moves north 5 FEET to just behind GHORENFORE. With his trusted wand, FENNIGAN fires another 3 magic bolts at G16. All three bolts swerve around MARTIN and HLIN, smacking G16 square in the chest. Pieces of dessicated flesh and black bile explode from G16, but the creature remains standing.

NARRATION
G16's claw attacks slam on HLIN's armor, but fail to find any weak spots. HLIN deflects G16's bite attack with her waraxe.

However, I need a FORT save (DC: 16) from HLIN or HLIN will be overcome with nausea like MARTIN. MARTIN does not need to make a second save, he's still affected by the first one.

G1, G2 and G3 are hungrily awaiting the chance to attack HLIN and MARTIN.

GHORENFORE is no longer alone down the north passageway. Three emaciated humanoids with pink to purple skin rush down the corridor to greet him. Their fingers end in claws instead of fingernails and their teeth are filled with fangs. Although they have a stooped, degenerate walk, they possess angular facial features and the pointed ears of elves.

ROUND ONE: MARILYN
MARILYN brandishes her bastard sword high above her head. She chants and the sword glows. She lowers the sword at the end of her rising chant. She spins around in a circle, sword angled down to the floor in front of her. At the end of her spin all those characters within 10 FEET feel an otherworldly serenity and defiance aiding their moves.

Those within a 10 FOOT radius of MARILYN are now under a Magic Circle Against Evil:
+2 deflection bonus against evil opponents (does not stack with other deflection bonuses)
+2 resistance bonus against effects from evil opponents (does not stack with other resistance bonuses)
Immunity to mind control
Summoned creatures can be kept from moving into the 10 FOOT radius

The 10 FOOT radius is centered at the lower left of MARILYN's square.

Oddly enough GHORENFORE notices that G4 begins to cower as if it had been turned.
