MARTIN looks like he has a hangover & lost a bar fight. He puts his sword away, gets his longspear off the ground & says "Playing bait worked, but I don't think I wanna do it again."

GHORENFORE looks to PACHEEN and LUSULA
PACHEEN, LUSULA, How many can each of, you move out at a time again? If you use your teleport ability?

GHORENFORE starts looking around and taking a silent head count. Hoping everyone will be able to move out at the same time, using their teleport ability.
I'm not comfortable with the possibility of them tracking us.

We can bring two other people with us per trip.

LUSULA's lupine ears perk up. She turns her head quickly toward the south corridor. She sends a message to everyone.
If we are thinking up a plan, I suggest we do it quickly. I do not believe our enemies are finished.

MARTIN and GHORENFORE are still nauseated.

I say MARILYN back to the end of the hall. Lupinals guard north & south in the previous room. Rest of us in the hall. Fennigan grabs the torch at LOWLYN's feet as he goes in. H'LIN guards this end. Everyone into previous room. Lupinals haul most out & only two have to wait or climb.

LUSULA
MARTIN suggests that we should all file down the passageway. He thinks PA'CHEEN and I should take the lead with HLIN bringing up the rear. I believe it would be better if one of us with a magic circle defend the rear of the party instead of HLIN. So far most of the undead are kept at bay by it.

PA'CHEEN nods and also sends a message to everyone.
Then, what are we wanting for?

PA'CHEEN raises his fist near his face. With an intense stare he opens his fist and a surge of magical energy surrounds him. Protected by his own magic circle, he moves forward down the hall.

LUSULA narrows her eyes as she watches him move ahead, but waits for the team to file down the hall.

FENNIGAN picks up the torch. He whispers
"I'll stay in the middle."
He walks into the corridor.

MARILYN moves down the tunnel, her bastard sword lighting the way.
MARILYN (29, 23)

LOWLYN prepares his bow with an arrow, but does not move. He also whispers
"MARTIN, move up with MARILYN, GHORENFORE stay near FENNIGAN. HLIN and I will take up the rear with LUSULA."

MARTIN and GHORENFORE are still nauseated.

MARTIN moves up to (30, 23)

HLIN looks at LUSULA

Its still ok for me to take the rear unless I am need somewhere else

Thats Fine, LUSULA will bring up the rear. I'll stay with FENNIGAN till we hit the door. He can pass the torch to me. MARILYN and I will be the last two out. If we have to, MARILYN and I can turn them before we leave to by an exit if it comes down to it. We'll wait for a second trip.

I smell company possibly blocking the way out. Give me a minute.

She moves cautiously into the room, but stands just at the entrance.

GHORENFORE nods, his tone is calm and even. His eyes narrow slightly, speaking to everyone his low voice carries slight gravel to it.

“Be careful, if there blocking the way out they may be trying to flank us.”

GHORENFORE stays with FENNIGAN

MARTIN steps up to (28, 23) to backup MARILYN.

MARTIN cannot see anything, even with the aid of MARILYN's light. However he soon hears an insatiable wail of hunger in the southern section of the room. The wail is followed by a second.

MARTIN hears PA'CHEEN in his mind.
There are two of them. They're still kept at bay with my magic. They are up against the southern wall. They cannot advance, but they won't run either. I'd recommend that if we want to give these undead berks the laugh that you and FENNIGAN come to me, GHORENFORE meets MARILYN, and LUSULA doors out with LOWLYN and HLIN. If not, we'll have to fight again.

"'Stay right on my ass' that hardly seems the proper vernacular from one of noble lineage."

FENNIGAN cannot follow GHORENFORE closely as MARILYN and MARTIN block his path.

LOWLYN watches the team move ahead.
"HLIN, come on. LUSULA will cover the rear flank."

LOWLYN moves in behind FENNIGAN.

LUSULA's warning was right on target. Only a moment after she moved down the corridor, an undead elf appeared 10 FEET from her, wailing in hungry agony. However, the beast is still prevented from closing the distance.

PA'CHEEN's thought is cut off as he turns to look into the room again.
We have to new opponents in the room. One is blocking the main exit, the other is down the south corridor.

Blight Level 1

FENNIGAN throws the torch at GHORENFORE. The torch lands at GHORENFORE's feet since his hands are full with a longsword and a shield.

PA'CHEEN moves passed GHORENFORE and MARILYN to meet MARTIN. He grabs MARTIN and FENNIGAN grabs MARTIN's other sword arm.

LUSULA grabs HLIN and LOWLYN grabs HLIN's wrist.

With a cackle of energy, the six allies disappear from the cave complex. MARILYN and GHORENFORE are left in the dark with only their light sources and the wailing of ravenous undead to keep them company. The undead chorus rises in temperament as they realize some of their prey has vanished.

MARILYN stares through the darkness that her small light cannot dispel.
"Perhaps someone with darkvision should have stayed."

GHORENFORE and MARILYN catch the sight of W4, coming from guarding the main exit. It spots only two opponents and makes a move to drop into the fight once again. From the south corridor come two more foes, G12 and W5. Both move in to engage the two members of the party.

Blight Surface
MARTIN, HLIN, LOWLYN, FENNIGAN, LUSULA, and PA'CHEEN all appear at the surface of the Oytwood once again. They are surrounded by the familiar quiet death of the forest NERRAUNE has murdered. The sun will soon drop below the horizon and the dead trees stretch their shadows across the party and the forest floor, a foreboding omen for the night to come.

PA'CHEEN and LUSULA doored the party directly to the surface. As such they are about 60 FEET east of the hill with the cave opening instead of being directly doored into the surface camp of the undead.

LUSULA eyes look to the northwest and widen. Her thoughts break the silence in everyone's minds.
We have company up here. Five undead to the northwest, one not humanoid.

She shrugs and rolls her eyes.
And one has spotted us.

MARTIN is still nauseated.
