Martin slices through G13's abdomen, spilling black bile across the floor. G13 continues moving toward Pa'cheen.

G13 continues it rush at Pa'cheen. It swings its clawed hand at the lupinal. The ghoul wails as it fails to puncture through Pa'cheen's thick hide.

G14 moves into the room to confront Martin. It reaches for Martin's flesh with its blackened teeth.

Pa'cheen unleashes his attack on G13. With a single swing of his mighty clawed hand, Pa'cheen enlarges Martin's earlier strike to the point that G13 is nearly cut in half. G13 collapses.

Pa'cheen then moves to assist Martin.

Lusula moves into the room and immediately moves to assist Martin, attacking G14. Her attack is clumsy and G14 dodges the blow.

Martin lands every blow on G14. G14 is dismembered and reduced to a pile of body parts in a puddle of black bile of liquified internal organs.

Condie, I apologize that I forgot that Martin was still blurred. I didn't take that into account when he was attacked. Hopefully, I can remember it for future attacks, especially since the lupinals can keep it going almost indefinitely.

Pa'cheen sends a message to the team,
At least one ghoul moved from the passage and headed south. He may be coming from the south passage. For the moment the paths seems clear.

Jacob moves to the southern entrance.
"Pa'cheen support Martin just in case we have new foes moving in. Lusula and I will cover the southern passageway."

Marilyn and Lowlyn move into the room. Lowlyn sets up a position so he can cover both passages.

Lowlyn scans the passages,
"How long to you want to stay here, Lieuten--wait, there is a ghoul coming up from the southern passageway!"

G15 moves 10 feet closer to the room, but forces itself back. In a wail of unrequited hunger it moves back and disappears from view, getting our of Marilyn's bright aura.

Martin and Pa'cheen can another undead foe, humanoid in form, at the end of the western passageway. It appears it was headed north.

Pa'cheen sends out a message
They're getting smart, they don't want to face us at full strength. Well, let's get this over with!


Pa'cheen snaps his fingers and shimmers in and out of phase with the material plane, switching between incorporeal and corporeal forms. He moves down the passage, taking a pause at the first northern passage.

First passageway looks clear.


Lusula also begins to phase in and out of reality by a slight wave of her hand. She moves into the southern passageway and turns beyond the bend to the west. She meets G15 alone in the corridor.
