| GHORENFORE's GROUP Starday, Sunsebb 1st, 586CY Time: 19:58:12 ENCOUNTER ONE
ROUND TWO: MARTIN
MARTIN is still engaged closely with GHOUL #4. GHOUL #7 has moved close and is 5 FEET NORTHEAST from MARTIN. CORPSE BANDIT #1 is 15 FEET WEST of MARTIN and #4 is 25 FEET WEST of MARTIN. GHOUL #5 is out of MARTIN's sight.
DM: Also, if everyone goes to graph paper, I will no longer have to make these post. They feel like they break the action. Everyone, send me a PM if you are doing the coordinate system, so I no longer have to do these posts.

| MARTIN AC: 18 / 11 (touch) / 17 (flat-footed) HP: 61 Weapons: masterworked longsword, masterworked short sword
MARTIN attacks GHOUL #4. If that one falls, he'll take a 5-foot step & start swinging at GHOUL #7
longsword swing 1 +11 -2 (two-weapon fighting) = 9
short sword swing 1 +10 -2 (two-weapon fighting) = 8
longsword swing 2 +6 (2 attacks per round) -2 (two-weapon fighting) = 4
short sword swing 2 +5 (improved two-weapon fighting) -2 (two-weapon fighting) = 3

| PLAYER: If I recall right, you can't score a critical on undead. Cryin' shame with those first 2 swings!
swing 1 attack: 19 +9 = 28 damage: 1 +3 = 4
swing 2 attack: 20 +8 = 28 damage: 3 +3 = 6
swing 3 attack: 15 +4 = 19 damage: 5 +3 = 8
swing 4 attack: 10 +3 = 13 damage: 5 +3 = 8

ROUND TWO: MARTIN
MARTIN's first swing with the longsword slices into GHOUL #4's abdomen. The cut is deep. MARTIN spins around the ghoul thrusting his shortsword through the undead's head. The black ichor falls everywhere along with GHOUL #4. The footwork of the spin put MARTIN in a prime position for his second swing with the longsword on GHOUL #7. The well-timed blow decapitates GHOUL #7, dropping the second foe. MARTIN: (14, 20)
DM: Condie mentioned the really good idea of using Excel for the coordinate map. Saves paper and time, since all you have to do is save a file and change it as necessary. I would suggest that everyone try this idea. I'm setting mine up tonight. Thanks, Condie!

ROUND TWO: BIG BADDY
The magical hailstorm ceases right after GHOUL #7 and its head collaspe to the ground. No ice or accumulation of any sort is left in its wake.
Chanting is heard from the SOUTHWEST, although the spellcaster is unseen. Once the chanting stops a bright reddish orange light appears 40 FEET above GHORENFORE. The light explodes into a huge pillar of fire, spreading out into a 10 FOOT radius cylinder. It engulfs GHORENFORE.
DM: I need a Reflex save from GHORENFORE.

| Save = 16
Ghorenfore's step falters as his knees buckle under the heat of the energy, his skin blisters, and blood seeps from his nose. He grunts as he is barely able to move enough to escape the full force of the blast, Gritting his teeth and whiping the sweat from his brow he smiles. "Alright,... I see how it's gunna be."
Damge = 11 HP = 41

ROUND TWO: ALEX
ALEX is now free from the ghouls. He has two other closing in from the south. CORPSE BANDIT #6 is 10 FEET SOUTH of ALEX (18, 27). CORPSE BANDIT #5 is 15 FEET to the SOUTHWEST (16, 28). Both opponents are armed with LONGSPEARS.
DM: There is a "CD" on the tactical map that I sent Bekah and G. Ignore it! I forgot to remove him from the map when I sent out the Player's version. As far as any of YOU are concerned, he is not there!

| GHORENFORE's GROUP Starday, Sunsebb 1st, 586CY Time: 19:58:06 ENCOUNTER ONE
ROUND TWO: RAVAGER/GLASSBLOWER/LOWLYN
RAVAGER, the armed skeletal creature, is chanting. The symbol on its forehead begins to glow as he chants. RAVAGER touches his forehead to the muzzle of the CORPSE BLACK BEAR. The chanting ceases, RAVAGER raises his head, and points at MARTIN. A hollow voice exits from RAVAGER's jaws; it is thin, menacing, and devoid of any emotion, except for hunger. "Attack."
The CORPSE BLACK BEAR bounds through the forest toward MARTIN. Its sharp canines prepared to rip MARTIN to pieces. Its roar is hollow and lacks the aggressive baritone of an angry bear, but the emotion it invokes is repulsion at its hideous existence. CORPSE BLACK BEAR (13, 21)
Roll #1 Bear's Attack Roll #2 Bear's Bite Damage
LOWLYN is still paralyzed, laying helpless on the ground.
GLASSBLOWER reappears close to the fallen tree. As she reappears she tosses a concoction of subtances from her hand; she is chanting angrily. The subtances flying from her hand glitter and then ignite. The sparks converge filling an area with a sphere of fire. The sphere appears directly in front of GHOUL #6. With a flick of GLASSBLOWER's wrist, the sphere bounces at GHOUL #6. The ghoul, unsuspecting of the attack, is burned all along the right side of its body. Its pink, emaciated flesh blisters and boils, spilling black ichor on to the ground. The ghoul does not catch fire. The sphere rests directly in front of GHOUL #6. GLASSBLOWER (19,10) FLAMING SPHERE (16, 14)

| GHORENFORE's GROUP Starday, Sunsebb 1st, 586CY Time: 19:58:06 ENCOUNTER ONE
ROUND TWO: RAVAGER/GLASSBLOWER/LOWLYN
The BEAR's bite clamps down on MARTIN's longsword, as MARTIN uses it to block the attack. The ferocity of this undead abomination nearly rips the longsword from MARTIN's grasp. The BEAR releases its grip on the sword, and MARTIN retains his footing.
END TURN
NEXT: FAWN/FANG
DM: Since everyone is using the coordinate system, I will no longer be making my usual post after this one. FAWN and FANG are free to act. From now on, when you see NEXT and your character's name, go for it! Good Hunting!

| PLAYER: After some advisement from the DM for targetting... This may need some future tweaking, but I can run with it.
FAWN AC: 14 / 12 (touched) / 12 (flat-footed) HP: 34 Weapon: masterworked composite longbow
FANG AC: 21 / 21 (touched) / 16 (flat-footed) HP: 20 will use dodge against whatever gets to her first
FAWN mutters "An undead druid out there. Fine! My turn!" She glares across the battlefield as she grabs the holly on her cloak & begins gesturing & chanting. She casts her own ice storm centered at (9, 21) (10, 21) (9, 22) (10, 22).
*** edit 3/12/10 *** FAWN Spell Slots: 6 / 5 / 4 / 4 / 1
