ROUND TWO: FAWN

The spread of the ice storm engulfs CORPSE BANDITS #1,#4, and #3, CORPSE BEAR, and RAVAGER. The sudden chilled embrace from the storm freezes the CORPSE BANDITS making their bodies very brittle. The large hailstones pummel the frozen undead, shattering them to pieces. CORPSE BEAR is pummelled by the hailstones, unable to shield itself. The pounding disfigures the undead further, but it remains active. RAVAGER, except for a crack in its skull and chips off its hands, remains undamaged.

For all spells cast on an opponent that can be affected by spell resistance, roll a caster level check as well. This way I do not have to stop the flow to tell the caster to roll a caster level check (CLC). This includes psionic powers. Even if you know the average monster species does not have spell resistance, make the roll anyway.
Addendum (3/12/10): Roll a separate caster level check for every opponent you affect.

For future reference, any time a CLC is not rolled for an opponent with spell resistance, the spell or power will have no effect.

Also, I made a post earlier that I want remaining spell slots on a character's combat profile as well. The remaining spell slots do not have to be added in a results post after casting a spell (although it would be nice), but I want the change listed on the next round's combat profile.
The spell slots are easy, they would look like this (lowest level to highest level):

HLIN digs her dwarven waraxe deep into CORPSE BANDIT #6's chest. The creature nearly topples from the blow. HLIN steps back from the attack and a large open gash reveals a shattered sternum and internal organs in various stages of decay. A lung falls out. The CORPSE BANDIT does not fall.

NEXT: FENNIGAN

FENNIGAN looks around the battlefield, after hearing GHORENFORE's order, perplexed. His eyes light up and the smile of a mischievous child crosses his face. GHORENFORE remembered hearing about this smile in Hochoch. This was the smile FENNIGAN had when he got a crazy idea, and FENNIGAN is looking at GHORENFORE.
"I hope you were not planning on riding BRAKUS, Lieutenant."

FENNIGAN rushes past a firepit and meets GHORENFORE. He is still smiling.
"I'm not going to find the spellcaster; I would be an easy target. You, however."

FENNIGAN immediately starts chanting pulling a small white object from his pouch. The wizard reaches his open hand before GHORENFORE's face. Still chanting, FENNIGAN drops his hand down to GHORENFORE's feet. Still chanting, FENNIGAN raises his hand back to GHORENFORE's face with the white object in hand, an empty cocoon. FENNIGAN breaks the cocoon and the silky strands are blown into GHORENFORE's face. FENNIGAN touches GHORENFORE's forehead with his hand. FENNIGAN stops chanting.
"Time to use our enemies strength against these enemies!"

GHORENFORE's body begins to revolt against him. His arms bulge and hands lengthen to large claws. His skin begins to turn green and he watches the trees begin to shrink. No, wait! GHORENFORE is growing taller. In a second he is towering over FENNIGAN. His back slumps and his long arms and vicious clawed hands drop to just above the ground. GHORENFORE's holy symbol drops from his hand and sees the symbol swinging around his neck. GHORENFORE has become a TROLL PALADIN of PELOR!

FENNIGAN still smiling and points into the dark forest to the SOUTHWEST

DM: GHORENFORE's position was at (15, 23), (15, 24), (16, 23), (16, 24), you had him move 15 FEET south which does not allow a second attack. Also, I believe you meant (15, 25), (15, 26), (16, 25), (16, 26). The position you wrote puts G right in their face, which does not allow you to use a Large longsword. I think you used the numbered rows from excel instead of the cells I numbered. It will make you one off if use the blue numbers and next time could get you an attack of opportunity. In any case, his new position is still 10 FEET from his last position, which means I am only allowing the first attack

GHORENFORE swings his massive longsword at the bandit below him. The blade cuts through the abdomen of CORPSE BANDIT #5 with ease. As CORPSE BANDIT #5's halves fall to the ground, GHORENFORE gets a moment's reflection on exactly what a TROLL could do to him.

From behind the two dwarves appears a creature right out the air itself. An undead human with a rapier in hand appears behind them and swings at both of them with such speed, they are not quick enough to react or defend themselves.

GHOUL #6 uncertain of the flaming sphere before it, takes a wide berth around the burning object. It still moves toward GLASSBLOWER. Its hunger and need to cause harm supercede any thought of self-preservation. It reaches GLASSBLOWER and pounces with its jaws open wide. The creature sinks its fang-filled maw into her shoulder. GLASSBLOWER screams, but is quickly silenced as she drops to the ground. GHOUL #6 looms over her, ready to alleviate its terrible hunger.

HLIN and LOWLYN feel a cold breeze, but are unaffected. The spell itself connects with FAWN's ice storm creating a wall of cold, wind, and hail.

GHORENFORE feels tinges of concern from BRAKUS over the attack.
