MARTIN's Results:

MARTIN's eyes gaze over the entire camp. All the opponents on the ground are walking corpses of former elves, probably wood elves. Their forms are fairly intact, their dead skin is a bluish color due to rot and cold weather. Most of the undead elves are equipped like typical soldiers, scale mail, bows, shortswords, and longspears. They fact that they use weapons may mean they have more sentience than the zombies they resemble. The first three undead elves also appear to have scars on their necks, a carefully applied wound that may have resulted in a slow, agonizing death. All the undead elves possess a mark on their forehead, a carved symbol of a skull resting on a blade scythe.

UE-11 and UE-12 stand out as possible leaders. Their armor was crafted by masters of the art. However, their armor is lighter, studded leather, and they possess weapons of better make. The empty sockets of their eyes scan the forest, a vigilance that would not end even after death.

All of the opponents stand unmoving in the freezing, bitter chill.

No sight of PA'CHEEN's archers can be found, nor is there any sign of FAWN's murderer.

MARTIN communicates telepathically with PA'CHEEN. "Several armed, undead elven soldiers. Skull & scythe markings on every head. Three with slit throat scars. Two leaders with masterworked gear. No sight of archers, large units, or FAWN's killer. Could magic areas be hiding them?"

PA'CHEEN replies to MARTIN
Unlikely, MARTIN, FENNIGAN and I did get a fly over on the main camp. They should have lit up under his spell. If the Blues are there; they're that good.

PA'CHEEN pauses for a moment and then turns to GHORENFORE. PA'CHEEN relays MARTIN's report and adds,
"LOWLYN wants to know exactly how close do you want the two of them to get. Every moment we wait, we are risking surprise."

Ghorenfore lowers his head and closes his eyes.
“May Pelor guide our arrows and our weapons and grant us strength in this moment.”
When his head rises he looks at Pacheen and nods.
“Have him take the shots when they’re both ready and in range. Wait for it, then Door in as planned. Everybody knows they’re part. Hit em hard, hit em fast, no stragglers this time either. If it looks like you’re going to get into a jam, get out and do it fast”
Ghorenfore nods his head
“and let’s do this one For Fawn,...”

LOWLYN motions to MARTIN. MARTIN can see an well camouflaged LOWLYN point toward UE-1. LOWLYN slowly pulls two arrows from his bow and nods.

PA'CHEEN sends a message to MARTIN
LOWLYN wants to hit the closest target (UE-1). Remember one shot, then hide again.

LOWLYN's Turn:

LOWLYN strings two arrows, firing them at the same time. The undead elf (UE-1) is hit two more times, one arrow in the lower torso, the second grazes a leg.

LOWLYN quickly spins back behind his cover, his camouflage still holding.

There is a murmur of surprise and confusion from the undead camp.

UE-12 raises his right hand in the air and spins it around in a large circles. A piercing shriek emanates south of the camp, as if in response. UE-12 moves east through the camp, stopping at a shattered tree trunk for cover.
