Fennigan chants quickly and opens his hands, palms up. Four purple bolts launch from his palms and head straight toward SC1. The bolts hit the 'loth unerringly. The impacts cause his natural armor to crack in places.

Round 3: Marilyn
Marilyn bolts toward D's position.
"Hiln, let's keep up the pressure!"

With Marilyn's new position, SC1, SC2, and D all flare again with bluish-white light from Marilyn's aura.

D fires a arrow from his bow at Marilyn and backs away from her. D's shot punctures straight through Marilyn's banded mail. Marilyn's steps back from an arrow that is lodged in her left lung. Her knees buckle a bit, but she doesn't fall.

D is emboldened by its successful attack.

SC1 vanishes in a burst of what light, leaving the battlefield.

SC2 is engulfed by its cloudkill spell. SC2 cannot be seen, nor does it act this round.

Round 3: Lusula

Lusula rushes to Pa'cheen's side and drops to her knees. Her hand glows a bluish-white as she touches the unconscious lupinal's bleeding wounds.
"Get up you reckless lunatic!"

Pa'cheen's bleeding wounds close and he wakes with a start.

Round 3: Pa'cheen

Pa'cheen leaps to his feet and shakes his head in a daze. He looks down at Lusula and smiles.
"I didn't any help. I had it right where I wanted it."

Pa'cheen grimaces noticeably as he brings his hand to his chest and more of his wounds heal instantly. His color and strength have almost returned completely.

He looks out over the battlefield for his next target.

Round 3: Fennigan

Fennigan rushes 30 feet east to better confront D. With his wand in hand he fires 3 purple bolts of pure energy at D. Each bolt hits the creature center mass.

Round 3: Marilyn

Marilyn steps 15 feet closer to D. A grim determination is written on her face. Her chest heaves with pain and anger. Marilyn funnels every ounce of her strength into her voice as she chants. Wincing from her arrow wound, she stretches her arms out from her body and bluish-white light forms in her hands. She throws her hands together, gripping the hilt of her bastard sword. She swings the sword as if attacking and launches a ray of light from her blade the arcs toward D.

The searing light hits D center mass and D explodes in a blast bluish-white light.

Marilyn grits through her teeth a curse,
"The Swordmaiden has ended you!"

She drops to her knees and catches her breath.

The Cloudkill spell will continue to travel east 10 feet every round until it dissipates. It should be easily avoided.

Martin puts away his bow as he walks across the field.  His last step is on D's last position & he twists his heel back & forth a bit like he's shoving D's remains into the ground.  He mutters "Now you're just dirt to help whatever druid comes to heal this place."

Martin closes his eyes & takes a moment to feel some peace after seeing justice for Fawn.  He then starts the routine search for any useful equipment.

Marilyn braces her body on her sword and stands to her feet. She looks proud with her work, but exhausted. She sheathes the bastard sword, quenching her holy light.
"Don't forget we could also take whatever gear with think the fort might need."

DM Note: When the tents were removed from their positions I forgot to mention goodies found then as well. I'll make an exhaustive list as all the bodies are looted.

"I think we should withdraw. The divine power granted to me by the Swordmaiden is dwindling. I'd prefer to save it all for healing our wounds."

Lusula nods.
"I concur. My healing ability is also limiting. Strategically, the loss of the Huecuvas will put Nerraune at a disadvantage."

Lowlyn and Fennigan also help collect the gear from the fallen foes. Fennigan

Pa'cheen returns to the group holding the prisoner, S7, by the back of the neck.
"We also need to figure out what to do about him."

S7 spits out something in SUEL at Hlin's words.

Pa'cheen squeezes S7's neck and leans in. Through bared canines Pa'cheen says.
"Oh, yes, you will. One way or another."

S7 eyes widen with surprise and unease at Pa'cheen's understanding of the language.

Fennigan nods,
"Well, now we just need to be able to collect all the gear, that which we wish to take, and find an efficient way to transport it."

Hlin looking is at Fennigan saying "We can use one of the tents' as a big bag or as a cot like carrier."

After she talks with Fennigan, she turns to Pa'cheen and asks him "He didn't say anything nice did he ? Pa'cheen?"

Martin takes 19 longbow arrows to refill his 2nd quiver.

With the collected pile of gear in front of the group, Martin was already thinking what Hlin just stated.  He gets the dwarf's help converting one of the tents into a carrier & laying out all the gear on it.  With everything loaded, he has a moment of playful curiosity.  He puts on a pair of lenses & looks around.

Martin fits the crystal lenses over his eyes. He feels a bit disoriented at first, but it passes quickly. With the lenses Martin can see distant objects more clear.

Fennigan looks at the items brought along to separate the magical from the non-magical. Marilyn begins looking over her allies for who needs healing. Lusula joins the cleric.

Lowlyn steps up to the pile and rummages through. He takes the other set of longbow arrows. He tries to pull the new bows, but is unsuccessful.

"The other bows and arrows we can leave here and bring with us as we need them. The two other bows are made for archers stronger than I. However, I will take a masterwork longsword and longspear too replace my more mundane ones."

Fennigan takes the wand of daze monster and the 8 potions of inflict light wounds.

"I can make use of the wand, perhaps. Also, these potions could be used as grenade weapons, should we need that."

Fennigan turns to the Lupinals and waves he hand toward the spoils.

"This treasure is also yours. Items in here could be useful to you."

Lusula steps forward and looks over the bows. She tries the bows, pulling each one back with ease.
"We could just take them with us."

She tosses the mighty longbow at Pa'cheen.
"Pa'cheen will just need some arrows for his bow."

Pa'cheen, curious about the green cloaks, puts one on and watches as the cloak's color shift to mimic the colors and textures of the ground, even the licking flames of the fire. With a little concentration, Even Pa'cheen's body can alter its color to a limited degree. He smiles.

Marilyn unfastens her purple cloak and tries on the one in the pile. She shrugs and switches back to her old cloak.
"As I figured, it functions like the cloak I have. It helps to enhance one's reflexes, hardiness, and mind from harm."

Lowlyn picks up the gloves and tries them on. He whistles a bit and touches his cheeks with them.
"The fit of these gloves is amazing. They do not stunt my sense of touch at all. They would be quite useful for anyone who has to do delicate and precise work with their hands, like Arlie or Tanya back at the fort."

Lowlyn takes them off and places them gently back in the pile.   

Fennigan hands the masterwork quarterstaff to Martin.
"It has a faint aura, but you can't go wrong with a blunt instrument that works as a double weapon for a ranger."

Marilyn stands up.
"First things first, I need to know who needs healing, so we can be prepared for tomorrow."

Lieutenant Jacob Keonogard (the new/old paladin) walks away from his mount, Dawn, and moves closer to the party.
"I agree with Marilyn, but I am curious as to our progress."

Lowlyn looks up from the campfire,
"While I'm certain we have more undead to deal with in the caves, Nerraune's Huecuva's are laid to rest."

Hey guys, could you give me hit point totals as well, so I know how split up the healing.

Hlin looks at Marilyn and says " I need some healing. And thank you for your uplifting support on the field."

Them she says to Pa'cheen "Your welcome anytime."

Hlin is at 3 HP out of 103 HP
