Fennigan moves closer to the front line.

Round 2: Marilyn

Marilyn raises her sword in the air. 
"Time to clean up the trash."

She takes a deep breath and bellows,
"Return to rest and walk this earth no longer!"

More white light pulsates from her bastard sword encompassing the area within 60 feet of her. The zombies are enveloped by the light and explode in bluish white flame. Only one remains, blocked by the hill and out Marilyn's sight.

Round 2: Jacob

Jacob looks to Hlin.
"Our turn now."

The paladin moves forward to meet the last zombie in combat. Naturally the dead thicket still slows his movement.

Marilyn holds her position next to Fennigan. The aura of her blade continues to burn Z6. 

Round Three: Jacob

Jacob swings his longsword at Z6, cutting through the undead creature's midsection, splitting the left shoulder from the core of its body. The left shoulder and arm drop, not completely severed, hangs down to the creatures abdomen. Z6 appears unphased by the attack and continues to press forward.

Pa'cheen tumbles past Jacob and between Z6's legs. The lupinal drops to his knees swings to face his foe and rips through the animated corpse with his teeth, finishing what Jacob started.

Marilyn sheathes her bastard sword, dousing her brilliant aura.

Lieutenant Jacob turns to the team.
"All right, we need to continue to press the attack. It appears that one foe escaped, probably to warn our opponents that we have come back."

Jacob shouts out to Fennigan, who rushes into the thicket with Lowlyn close behind,
"Fennigan, do we have any other magic traps around the entrance we may have to worry about?"

Fennigan chants, his eyes glowing pure white for an instant.
"No, just the darkness globes and the pits."

Lowlyn raises an eyebrow
"The pits?"

Fennigan nods.

Jacob acknowledges Fennigan's answer. Turning to Pa'cheen and Lusula, he says,
"Could the two of you door us down the incline to the bottom? If I remember correctly from my fall last time, it was about 70 FEET."

Lusula nods,
"But we can't take all of you at the same time. Two will need to be left behind for the first trip."

Jacob,
"If we still have foes waiting for us, I want Hlin, Marilyn, Martin, and I to go down first. Pa'cheen can stay down with us, while Lusula comes back to the surface to get Fennigan and Lowlyn."

Jacob pauses for a moment to let everyone take in the orders.
"Everyone good with that?"

Hlin says " I am fine the orders. So let's do these!"

As she makes her war face.

Martin switches from his bow to his short sword & ghost-touched longsword.

He replies "I'm ready."

Lusula grabs Martin and Marilyn. Pa'cheen grabs Jacob and Hlin.

In an instant the team is brought down into the dark cavern again. Light explodes into the room as Marilyn unsheathes her bastard sword.

The angry groan of the undead echoes through the room. Three foes are in the room. They are of humanoid height. One has dark yellow skin while the other two are only pale, as the two had recently died.

They move to attack.
