Round Two: Pa'cheen

OS1 misses miserably. Pa'cheen leaps to his feet and gets a grip on OS1's upper thigh bone. Pa'cheen powerful back muscles lift his head and rip the thigh bone from OS1. The thigh bone crumbles in Pa'cheen's mouth and the rest of the skeleton collapses into a harmless pile.

OS1 Defeated

Hlin says "Thank you Pa'cheen and Martin for your help. Let's keep moving."

Jacob comes down the stairs, followed by Fennigan and his light. Lusula, Marilyn, and Lowlyn are still on the staircase.

Jacob stares down the hall as far as the light will let him.
"Let's keep the same marching order, Hlin up front, Martin backing her up, and Pa'cheen third. Pa'cheen, could you keep a magical eye out for tricks in the hallways."

Pa'cheen nods, and stares down the passageway, his eyes glow with a bluish white light.

Hlin, from her position down the corridor, sees another T-intersection at the end of the corridor.

Pa'cheen sends out a telepathic message.
"I sense a magical aura at the first intersection."

Jacob asks Pa'cheen
"Should we get Fennigan to identify it?"

Pa'cheen shakes his head,
"Nah, I'm just going to burn it down, so we can get to these berks quicker."

Pa'cheen waves his hand down the hall and the there is small audible pop heard halfway down the hall.

Pa' cheen's result:

Pa'cheen pauses after the popping sound. He stares down the hall a bit dumbfounded.

Jacob asks, impatiently,
"Well, did it work?"

Pa'cheen grins from ear to ear, baring his canines.
"Of course, it did. Do you think some clueless greybeard is going to slip me the blinds."

Jacob raises an eyebrow and steps back
"What?"

Pa'cheen clears his throat.
"It's done, no more spelly-welly to harm."
He turns to Hlin and waves her on.
"Let's keep moving, dwarf."

Jacob sighs with heavy exasperation.
"Just keep your eyes out. I think this may be the actual base of our foe, we may want to take this area passage-by-passage. I don't think we should rush it."

Hlin nods her head  to Pa'cheen for acknowledgment she moves 5 feet to look down the side halls to see any trouble.

Hlin looks down both corridors. The southern passage continues down beyond Hlin's sight. Two more intersections are also view. Down the northern corridor, the passage appears to open in to a larger area. Hlin can also see a wall with some sort of stone obstruction.

Hlin says to Martin and Pa'cheen  " To the left corridor it looks as a large room and to the right corridor it opens to a long hallway and the corridor dead head has an opening to the right and to left at the end of it."


"Martin take the left corridor doorway. I go to the right corridor doorway. Pa'cheen I would need you to take the main corridor." Hlin says
