ROUND EIGHT: MARTIN's RESULTS
MARTIN gets out of the Sleet Storm. However, from (14, 13) to (12, 13) the ground-based vegatation cuts painfully into his feet. Also, MARTIN is just NORTH of the Daylight spell so he must rely on his new darkvision to see, and he notices the skeletal elf archer, RAVAGER, to the SOUTHWEST at (6, 17).

ROUND EIGHT: MARTIN's RESULTS
MARTIN is not hindered by the wounds sustained on his foot.
NEXT: HUECUVA/CORPSE TIGER
A thin, echoing laughter spills from the HEUCUVA mouth as it malevolent eyes turn to GHORENFORE. "Fool, you come alone!"
The HUECUVA grabs the preserved mistletoe hung around its neck with his right hand and his eerie voice echoes a chant. His left hand spins wild around him. As he does so, GHORENFORE watches the trees and ground vegatation start to twist and writhe. The HUECUVA stops spinning his left hand and plants it out front of him, palm down. He raises his hand to eye level and closes his fist. The forest comes alive around the combatants as the trees and vegatiation twist and turn to entrap GHORENFORE. GHORENFORE notices that the vegatation now all possess sharp, numerous thorns as they press toward. The worst part is that the HUECUVA, RAVAGER, and the CORPSE TIGER appear to be unaffected. MARTIN and HLIN see the spell activated not to far from their positions, missile fire into and out of the area is nearly negated by the spell's effects.
CORPSE TIGER makes a 5 FOOT step to close in with GHORENFORE for an attack, and HUECUVA moves in right behind him. The vegatation around the three undead creatures stop writhing within 10 FEET of HUECUVA.
Spell Radius: (1, 13), (2, 12), (3, 11), (4, 10), (5, 10), (6, 11), (7, 12), (8, 13), (9, 14), (10, 15), (11, 16), (12, 17), (12, 18), (11, 19), (10, 20), (9, 21), (8, 22), (7, 23), (6, 24), (5, 25), (4, 25), (3, 24), (2, 23), (1, 22) (Other coordinates are off the map and are unimportant)
Radius protected from spell: (5, 17), (6, 17), (7, 18), (7, 19), (6, 20), (5, 20), (4, 19), (4, 18)
CORPSE TIGER (5, 19), (6, 19), (5, 20), (6, 20) HUECUVA (5, 18)
GHORENFORE needs to make a Reflex save (DC: 17) or be entangled.

| DM POST
In case anyone jotted down coordinates for the the unaffected area inside HUECUVA's spell, I have adjusted that radius. It needed a serious edit. I do not know why I did what I did. I'll be tweaking the spread rules soon. I will start with only wanting the intersection point for the center of any spread, burst, cone, or emanation, even if they are coming off of a character. I will put down the coordinates of the actual radius; that way they are usually consistent and I can ad hoc as neccessary.
Now, I'm going to go play with my inability to draw circles. I plan on saving my radii on a separate excel sheet to use as a reference.

ROUND EIGHT: GHORENFORE's RESULTS
GHORENFORE avoids the animated, thorny plants from entangling him. However, the press of the plants and the feel of their sharp thorns is still a constant threat. Any move could invoke the wrath of these animated plants and not moving will trap him for certain.
GHORENFORE is reduced to 1/2 movement rate while in the spell's radius.
DM to GHORENFORE: Any actions that GHORENFORE makes, attack, movement, or casting a spell will have the plants inflict damage on him. Also, GHORENFORE must make another Reflex save every time he acts or risk entanglement. Make sure to roll a Reflex every time GHORENFORE acts. Also, the plants try to entangle him every round as well (on HEUCUVA's turn).
CORPSE TIGER CORPSE TIGER, unaffected by the spell cast, lunges at GHORENFORE. Its undead and decayed appearance belies great strength and agility. It lunges with both front limbs stretched out. Its massive open jaws aimed at GHORENFORE's troll head.

ROUND EIGHT: CORPSE TIGER Results
The bite connects with GHOREFORE's face, disfiguring the troll paladin horribly. The great undead cat pulls back, its attacks finished for the moment.
GHORENFORE takes 17 points of slashing/piercing/bludgeoning damage.

RAVAGER raises his LONGBOW toward MARTIN. Two arrows, one after the other, sail through the trees toward MARTIN. They are aimed for his chest.

GLASSBLOWER is still in the Sleet storm and paralyzed.
LOWLYN looks at the Sleet storm with GLASSBLOWER inside of it and looks back to the edge of the Daylight where a fight is taking place that he cannot see. He rushes to the edge of the new spell that was cast, pulling two arrows from his quiver. He fires both arrows simultaneously at CORPSE TIGER, now that he can see the opponents.

ROUND EIGHT: RAVAGER/GLASSBLOWER/LOWLYN's Results
Both of RAVAGER's arrows whistle pass MARTIN. The first arrow was frighteningly close.
LOWLYN's arrows hit their mark, one embedding deep into CORPSE TIGER's hide. LOWLYN whispers to FAWN. "FAWN, get over here and counter this spell! We need to get to GHORENFORE!" LOWLYN (10, 21)

ROUND EIGHT: FAWN's Results
DM: I was assisting Condie with Dispel Magic last night and I want to adjust what I told him. I will allow someone to target a specific spell with a Dispel Magic whether it is the area or personal version a character is using. However, there could be more spells operating on that person, object, or area. If the character is unaware of other spells obviously you cannot roll dispel checks for the spells you are unaware of. However, I can, so I will continue the rolls on FAWN's dispelling attempts with this post. I will do so for other characters at later dates. However, this could have mixed results if a PC has a spell running. I know I told Condie last night it wouldn't matter, so I will not hinder GHORENFORE this time; however, it will affect friendly spells from this point on. For future reference, if you know the all the magical auras in an area, you can make a dispel attempt for each spell in the area, without my assistance. Just remember an area dispel will only dispel one spell/opponent or object in the area of effect. Any area spells can be dispelled without limit as long as they are not emanating from an opponent. And no, you cannot pick and choose which spells to dispel; all spell in an area of effect can be affected.
FAWN's Dispel Attempts: #1 HUECUVA's Spell +8 #2 CORPSE TIGER's Spell (1) +8 #3 CORPSE TIGER's Spell (2) +8 #4 RAVAGER's Spell (1) +8 #5 RAVAGER's Spell (2) +8 #6 RAVAGER's Spell (3) +8
