ROUND EIGHT: FORLIN/FENNIGAN

FORLIN pulls out a gold piece while airborne. He holds the gold piece near his holy symbol and chants. The gold piece lights up, basking FORLIN in a yellow glow within a 20 FOOT radius. With the gold piece, FORLIN moves toward GHORENFORE and HLIN while descending to 20 FEET. He drops the enspelled gold piece near GHORENFORE. Lighting up an area. FORLIN then moves close to HLIN.
FORLIN whispers to HLIN and ALEX
"HLIN, I need to wait, and ALEX, I need you to join HLIN (9, 22). I will door both of you with me near the enemy."

The Light spell lights up the opponents for the characters around the Briar Web. HUECUVA does look skeletal, but is covered in a bluish-gray mold and the empty sockets burn with a red fiery malice.

FENNIGAN descends to 30 FEET and moves west. Sailing over the Briar Web, he catches sight of his opponents as FORLIN's spell illuminates the ground. Everyone can see the flash and hear a thunderclap as bolt of lightning arcs from the sky and plows straight through CORPSE TIGER. CORPSE TIGER's head explodes in charred decaying pieces. The bolt rips through the body, blasting a hole through its back legs. The remains thump to the ground.

ROUND EIGHT: GHORENFORE's Results

GHORENFORE only gets through half of his movement, before th animated plants and tress grab at his massive legs and torso. The thorns that cover the animated plants reach into his tough hide and rip deep into his body, weakening GHORENFORE further. He is held just at the edge of the spell. However, his reach was still long enough to land an attack on HUECUVA. The blow was massive and exploded in a bluish white flame when it hit HUECUVA. Unfortunately, GHORENFORE watches in disappointment as most of the attack healed immediately. His holy blast burned across HUECUVA's mid-sections, but no more damage is visible.

HUECUVA lifts up his medallion with the preserved mistltoe pendant. The thin voices chants. As HUECUVA chants a yellow fog comes from its mouth and into its free hand. Its free hand is twisting at the wrist collecting the mist into a small omnious cloud.

HUECUVA succeeds in staying on the defensive while in GHORENFORE's extended reach. HUECUVA stops chanting and the yellow fog leaps from his free hand in a streak that hits FENNIGAN square in the mouth and nose. The yellow cloud engulfs FENNIGAN's head as he coughs and sputters. Unable to do much more than hold his breath, FENNIGAN falls from the air and lands with a thud to the ground. The animated plants wrap around him.
