LUSULA
FENNIGAN, MARTIN, you are coming with us to support GHORENFORE.

LUSULA grabs FENNIGAN and disappears in a energy ripple before her. Directly after LUSULA's door attempt PA'CHEEN moves toward MARTIN, grabs him, and doors MARTIN into the cavern where GHORENFORE fell.

MARTIN appears at his new destination, facing one of GHORENFORE's foes (W1). The creature was once human. Its flesh is dessicated and pulled tight across its weak limbs and nearly skeletal face. The creature possesses wicked claws instead of forefingers and its mouth is filled with tiny, sharp fangs. Its clothes are mere scraps of cloth. The second opponent on GHORENFORE (W2) looks about the same as MARTIN's foe.

FENNIGAN's torch now lights up the room. Its light spills through the room and back up the passageway to those still coming down. GHORENFORE can now see his foes.

LUSULA is still running her Magic Circle Against Evil which has a 10 FOOT Radius (centered on the lower left corner of her square).

Suppresses all forms of mind-influencing effects on creatures within the circle
Prevents summoned evil creatures from entering the warded circle

MARTIN had been standing at the top of the slope with his bow drawn to provide any necessary cover fire as the party scaled their way down. Suddenly, he appears in a new location with an enemy in his face!

How much can GHORENFORE "Lay on Hands" in a day?

Anything that has uses/day should have a recorded max number next to how many abilities are left (including Lay on Hands).
EXAMPLE:
Turn Undead 2 [5]/day
The [5] shows which is the max uses/day.

I truly recommend that everyone keep their character's updated on an Excel spreadsheet and keep a constantly updated combat profile either on excel or word. That way you can make quick changes as posts are made and you can copy and paste the updated profiles on your next turn. It's easier to do this with daily checks on the forum rather than doing it all at once when it's your turn.

And Val,

You should really look at Table 8-2 in the PHB (page 141). The table full of different actions that a character can take in a round. It's divided up into free, move, standard, and full-round actions. GHORENFORE's standing up from prone is a move action, he can still take a swing. If you're worried about an Attack of Opportunity, your opponents are flat-footed (they lost initiative); they do not get attacks of opportunity. All of this information is in Chapter 8 of the PHB.

Now that I've said all of this, I will let you take a swing on either W1 or W2. However the post must be made by 830pm or W1 and W2 get to go.

W1 Results:

Hit AC: 25 (hit)
Damage: 5 (bludgeoning) + 1 negative energy level

W1's attack pounds GHORENFORE's face. Pain radiates across GHORENFORE's face. The pain is quickly followed by another wave of dread, fever, and weakness. GHORENFORE can barely stand as his heart skips several beats and his breathing ceases between the skipped beats. GHORENFORE watches in horror as the gash on W1's leg completely heals as GHORENFORE is weakened.

W2 Results:

Hit AC: 20 (hit)
Damage: 5 (bludgeoning) + 1 negative energy level

W2's swing connects with the back of GHORENFORE's head. Dread, pain, and fever overwhelm GHORENFORE's senses. His body he aging, decaying with every blow. W2 appears to grow stronger with the successful strike.

GHORENFORE has three negative energy levels: all class abilities that function on level are reduced by two as well as attacks, saving throws, ability checks and skill checks.

PA'CHEEN aids MARTIN and GHORENFORE by assaulting W1.

PA'CHEEN's first swing with his claws only glances off of W1's undead hide.

PA'CHEEN swings up his left claw in response. He rips through W1's torso. Four deep gashes form in the undead's hide.

PA'CHEEN moves in to bite, but W1 rears back from the attack. PA'CHEEN's jaws snap together harmlessly.

ROUND ONE: LUSULA
LUSULA moves across the cavern, taking position behind W2. She crouches and attacks with sharp canines. LUSULA bites down on W2's left thigh. The wound is deep. LUSULA rears up, still holding W2's thigh, with a force that could tear the leg off. W2 falls to the ground like a rag doll. LUSULA releases her prey, spitting out black bile.

Take note that her magic circle no longer protects anyone.

MARTIN swings his longsword across W1's torso. MARTIN stabs W1 through its ribs with his shortsword. His second swing from the longsword, splits W1 in half. The dessicated corpse falls to the ground.

TO CONDIEBERKS: Almost everything looked good for your rolls. Shortsword damage, since it's a secondary weapon, from your strength is only half of your strength bonus. In your case that's +1 instead of +3.
